Comment (edited 3.38 PM 12/14/2015 ): Even billionaires need to sleep at night. Gates’ draconian wealth-building litigation and licensing strategies paid big and gave him a reputation, at the time, on par with Martin Shkreli, the AIDs pill ‘let ’em die’ if they can’t afford it guy. That Gates is making amends is fantastic but, for anyone with his financial clout, there is always the temptation to play GOD. – PG

Philanthropists now hand out their charitable dough to huge corporations and not to charities
